A Comprehensive Shamanic Practitioner Training. This is Core Shamanism Practitioner Training and based on all the key principals of Shamanic practices. We endeavour to put as much Celtic and pre-Celtic Irish indigenous Shamanic content into this training program as possible. We work with the land and a large portion of all Sundays will be spent outdoors connecting with the land and sacred sites in the area. We include fire ceremonies, vision quests and sacred rituals into these days.

Missed modules can be done on a one-to-one basis with teacher, or by joining another group for missed module to get you up to speed. Completed training, students receive a certificate as a Shamanic Practitioner, accredited by the International Practitioners of Holistic Medicine (IPHM). Max spaces 25. Early booking advised. Foundation Level Shamanic Practitioner Training

13 + 14 March 2027 - Module Two. The Journey of the Wolf, Discovering Your Soul Path, Shamanic Rituals and Tools. Creating Sacred Space, Breathwork, Journaling. Dialoguing, facing you fears and understanding that they are holding us back. Removal through ceremony. Fire ceremony Two Days. Cost €175 (Paid in advance as part of the €350 pre-payment)
10 + 11 April 2027 – Module Three. The Path of the Shamanic Healer: Personal Healing, Basic overview of Soul Retrieval, Family Tree Healing , Past Lives Healing, Sound and Vibration, Shamanic Psychopomp. Two Days. Cost €175 ( Pay on the weekend of training)
08 + 09 May 2027 - Module Four .The Way of the Snake, Masks of Transformation, Direction and Spiritual Goals, Vision Quest, Developing Shamanic Skills, Divination., sacred fire ceremony and understanding how powerful removal through ceremony can be. This is all about removing fears, trauma and negative energies Two Days. Cost €175 (Pay on the weekend of training)
Intermediate Shamanic Practitioner Training
12 + 13 June 2027 - Module One. The Shamanic Otherworld: The Three Worlds, Spirit Guides, power Animals, The Afterlife, the Role of the Psychopomp, Elves, Fairies, Nature Spirits, The Energies of the Land, understanding Shamanic Cosmology and the journey.Two Days. Cost €175 (Pay on the weekend of training)
10 + 11 July 2027 - Module Two. Shamanic Divination: Journeying for Divination, Ogham/ Tree divination, Pendulum, Divination rods, fire divination, water divination and many other methods of Divination. Two Days. Cost €175 (Pay on the weekend of training)
14 + 15 August 2027 - Module Three .Healing with Sound and Frequency: Drumming and Music, Solfeggio Frequencies, Brain Entrainment, Brain Synchronisation, Tibetan singings bowls, Tibetan bells and gongs (etc). Two Days. Cost €175 (Pay on the weekend of training)
11 + 12 September 2027 .The Shamanic Land: Energies of the Land, Nature Spirits and Elementals, Elves, Fairies and Devas, Vision Quest, Geopathic Energies and ley lines, Dowsing, Working with Mother earth and all land energies, Healing the Earth. Two Days Cost €175 (Pay on the weekend of training)
Advanced Shamanic Practitioner Training
09 + 10 October 2027 – Module One. Soul Retrieval: The Soul Retrieval Theory and Practice. Ethics and Professional Practice. Two Days. Cost €175 (Pay on the weekend of training)
13 + 14 November 2027 - Module Two. Shamanic Energy Healing: Advanced Vibration and Sound, working with Your Guides, Reiki and Hands-on Healing, (Includes an extra Certificate in Ama Deus Shamanic Reiki).Ethics and Professional Practice Two days. Cost €175 (Pay on the weekend of training)
11 + 12 December 2027 - Module Three. Ancestral and Past Lives Healing: Past Life Regression, Family Tree Healing Theory and Practice, Past Lives Healing Theory and Practice. Ethics and professional practice. Two Days. Cost €175 (Pay on the weekend of training)
08 + 09 January 2028 - Module Four. Gateways to the Soul: Shamanic Psychopomp theory and practice. Hands on work at specific site across the county. Ethics and Professional Practice.Two Days. Cost €175 (Pay on the weekend of training)
FRIDAY 11th February 2028 (Final day) A day of reflection of the full Shamanic practitioner training. This is a day where we re-cap on the full training and revise on all modules, ask questions and round off the full year. 10.30am – 5pm. Between 5pm – 6pm we commence our Shamanic initiation and Certificate presentation. If the weather is good we will do this initiation outdoors with fire ceremony. One day. Cost €80. Following this the Irish School of Shamanic Studies brings all students out for a celebration meal courtesy of the school. If for one reason or another there are dates in our schedule that may not suit, you can join another group to catch up on what you have missed or by joining our online training. This way no one falls behind. This training is quite expansive with a wide variety of global Shamanic practices with our Irish / Celtic and pre-Celtic traditions leading the way. This is core Shamanic practitioner training, it is a step by step learning where every member starts the training at the bottom, and through the months we climb and climb. It is truly enjoyable, refreshing, healing and transformative in every way.
As you can see from the schedule, we have a broad training with key Shamanic elements which include:.

- Working with spirits of place and fairy energy
- Working closely each month with sacred sites such as, standing stones and stone circles, fairy forts, healing wells and sacred healing trees, ancient burial and ceremonial sites.
35% Of this training is done outdoors, each Sunday of the training, we head out to powerful ancient sites to heal ourselves, heal the sites, connect with our ancestors etc. fire ceremonies are done on Sundays where we work closely with Mother earth.
Transport to our Sunday training locations is usually done through car pooling within group members.
Food is supplied for all training weekends.
The cost of Module 1 & 2 needs to be paid on booking the course (€350) (Non-refundable). This can be paid over the phone by debit/credit card or through PayPal. From module 3 onwards it is pay as you go at €175 per month to be paid in cash on the training weekend. At the end of the 12 months you will receive:
- a Certificate as a Shamanic Practitioner
- a Certificate as an Ama Deus Shamanic Reiki Practitioner.
The training program is accredited through the International Practitioners of Holistic Medicine (IPHM). This course is transformative and indeed life changing. Our healing techniques are concise with no stone left unturned when it comes to our Shamanic practices. It works over many layers from one to one healing techniques, shamanic counselling techniques, land and house healing.
A pre-payment of 350 euro secures your place. This is a pre-payment for module 1 & 2.

The training takes place in the ALLTAR Holistic Centre, Castlebar Holistic & Wellness Centre, Linenhall street, Castlebar, Co Mayo.
Our training groups fill quite fast, early booking is advised to secure your place. Our recommended B&B is the Greenbay, the Mall, Castlebar, Co Mayo. It is approx. a 5 minute walk from our Centre.
