Shamanic Divination
In this module two of the Intermediate Shamanic Practitioners Course: Shamanic Divination, we will look at one of the central roles of the Shamanic Practitioner, that is divination. Divination can be simply explained as gathering information from a non-ordinary place. The role of the Shaman in the ancient Clans carried huge responsibility. In many ways the ancient Shaman would determine whether the Clan would thrive or survive, in that, the Shaman would connect with Spirit to discover hunting areas, or areas of usable water, safe places to live and many other essential tasks, necessary for the survival of the Clan. In this module, we will analyse how the ancient Shaman would carry out these tasks, what tools they would use, including Ogham divination, dowsing, astrology, journeying and other divination methods. The student will be shown how to use these tools and how it is our birthright as human beings to connect with Spirit to gain information about present and future events. The issue of time is central to this process and the student will be shown how to ‘track their timeline’, into the past and into the future to discover essential information for themselves and those that seek their help. In this module we will be using many methods of divining and it will be a real hands-on training weekend. Some of the methods we will be connecting with will be the Shamanic journey, this is the ultimate form of divination for the Shaman. We will be working with Ogham divination (Tree divination) pendulum divination, divining with dowsing rods, mirror scrying, oracle cards, cloud divination, fire divination etc…. This module will teach many methods to attain information from Spirit. This is a truly eye opening weekend of building our Spirit communication methods. We will also learn about energylines and portals in the earth and how to find them and work with them.
